All members of staff I encountered made me feel welcome. Mon Hotel is a small, classy boutique hotel. I didn't make it to the spa but have promised myself a treatment next time! The rooms were light, airy, clean and modern and the shower was excellent as were the toiletries provided. The food I sampled was excellent.
The only downside was the cost of breakfast at EUR 19 which I felt was rather excessive given that I only wanted a couple of croissants and a coffee.
I liked the location, 7mns walking distance to the Champs-Elysees. Also, the street where the hotel is located is calm and nice.the room is a bit small but it is normal for Europe. The bed is very comfortable. I will surely stay in it on my next trip to Paris.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location excellent just 2 minutes walk from Arc de Triumphe.
The room was small, but I guess that is expected in cities like Paris.
The Mon Hotel is in an excellent location and loved the peacefulness of the hotel, would reccommend
The facilities are deterioring. The safe box in my room did not work. The bathroom door knob in my kid's room was falling apart. On the last day, their room door did not work, due to the electronic problem!
For the price and positioning the rooms were tiny ! Adequate for a single person but if you are with two then you will frequently trip over each other. (I stayed in the premium room and dread to think the size of the executive although in pictures the executive does look a bit more comfortable). The design of the hotel is commendable but not super fantastic however it must be said that the staff at the hotel is possible the best you will find even by international standards (in other more hospitality oriented countries and definitely over and above Paris standards). I would like to stay again but only for the staff hospitality. Most likely I will seek other similar hotels to see if I get a bit more value for money.
Mixed feelings. Not entirely negative ... read in the positive section for details.
The interior character, modern in an elegant way. Very quiet.
Room on the small side. Space for the chair at the desk not enough.
They charged us for the coffee in the room without informing us in advance.
The location was perfect
The staff was not very accomodative
This was a bit pricey, but excellent, small, designer boutique hotel just blocks away from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was quite comfortable. I had a room on the 6th (top) floor with small balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Altogether a great experience..
Room was a bit small.. I kept bumping my head into the lamp lighting the photo of Marilyn Monroe (where the hotel gets its name).. Also, check the location on the map to make sure it works for you..
hotel staff were very kind, room was clean, the bed was big and comfortable, location is good, on a silent street, 5 min.walk to metro station and 7 min.walk to champs elysee, 7-10 min.walk to airport shuttle stop.
Hotel were friendly and very comfortable. Access to the metro is prefect. Attached to the 1 line and therefore connected to the major sights. A nice stroke to the trocadero and views of the Eiffel tower. The staff could have done no more to help us with any questions we had. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in, in a hotel. The hotels location is perfectly placed near the arc de triumph. Overall this place is prefect for a romantic stay in Paris. Just what we wanted. Thanks to the staff of the mon hotel.
I like every things mostly the people work bcz they were so helpful and the location and other things
What I did not like the room is small.
I liked the fact that I was on my own and felt secure. I was comfortable having a drink in the evening after a long day and new I was not going to be bothered by other people. When you are traveling alone as a woman you need to feel safe. The room was clean and very comfotable. The only critisim was that there was not a full food menu which would have been good for people who just simply want to stay in and relax rather than to go out in the evening to a resturant. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom would be a great advantage to the hotel even if it was as an extra charge for the hire of which you could pre book.
I liked the boutique feel but, they really need to pay attention to the more practical things at the hotel such as replacing the french doors on the front hotel room with double glazed authentic ones as they let in a lot of cold and noise eg. Wate collectors atn5.30 In the morning. Also better sound proofing between the rooms. It was like have next door in you room.
Interesting, bold style...black and red dominate, sort of vampire chic...but not embarrassingly gothic
